NSUK Circulates Approved 2025/2026 Academic Calendar

 Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has circulated the Senate-approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The calendar is issued for the information of the university community, with an instruction for strict compliance.

The notice also sets out commencement directives; these are framed as timelines that faculties, departments, and relevant units are expected to follow

Registration and portal activation dates

The university portal will be opened for registration of newly admitted and returning students from Sunday, 4 January 2026, and will close on Saturday, 31 January 2026.

The directive covers both categories of students. It also gives a defined window, rather than an open-ended process; registration is expected to happen within the stated dates.

Third semester activities running alongside registration

The notice states that revision and examinations for the Third Semester (Second Batch) will run concurrently with registration from Monday, 12 January to Saturday, 24 January 2026.

Departments are required to manage these activities effectively to prevent disruption to the registration process. The point is administrative, but it matters; two separate processes will run at the same time, and departments are expected to keep both on schedule.

Resumption and commencement of lectures

Resumption and commencement of lectures for all categories of students will take place on Monday, 2 February 2026.

The instruction is directed across the university; faculties, departments, and relevant units are requested to prepare adequately and keep to the timelines for a smooth start to the session.
